Taipei [Taiwan], January 25 (ANI): The island nation of Tuvalu, which is all set to head to polls tomorrow, will examine its ties with Taiwan and China if finance minister Seve Paeni becomes prime minister following Friday’s election.
Tuvalu, which is one of the 12 countries that formally recognise Taiwan’s government, claims the self-governing island as its territory, according to Taiwan News.
