YANGON, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) — Fifty-seven people were killed and 280 others injured in 169 traffic accidents on Myanmar’s Yangon-Mandalay highway in 2022, the state-run media citing traffic police reported on Sunday.

The dead included 51 males and six females, while the injured included 175 males and 105 females, the media report said.
