YANGON, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) — A total of 55 people were killed and 129 people injured in fire accidents in the first seven months of 2023 in Myanmar, the fire services department said on Thursday.
The fire services department said 1,012 fire outbreaks – 167 in January, 193 in February, 180 in March, 205 in April, 130 in May, 67 in June and 70 in July – occurred during the January-July period.
