JAKARTA, June 13 (Xinhua) — A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia’s North Sulawesi province early Thursday, but did not generate large waves, according to the country’s meteorology, climatology, and geophysics agency.
Initially, the agency reported the quake’s magnitude as 6.0 before downgrading it.
