TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Kazakhstan defeated Iran 73-69 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers in Tehran’s Azadi Hall on Thursday.

Iran’s Mohammad Jamshidi topscored with 32 points, while Kazakhstan’s Nikolay Bazhin scored 23 points.

With the win, Kazakhstan moved up top of Group D with six points, one points ahead of Iran’s Team Melli.
