MANILA, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) — A private motorboat capsized and sank off the coast of Northern Samar province in the central Philippines, leaving two people dead, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said Thursday.

In a report, the PCG said the boat carrying six passengers and two crew members sank on Monday off Laoang town.
