ISLAMABAD, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) — Two dacoits were killed in a clash with police in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad in the wee hours of Thursday morning, the police said in a statement.

The police were having a routine check at a picket in sector D-12 of the Pakistani capital when the dacoits opened fire at them, but the cops remained safe due to the security measures, the statement added.
