BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) — Foreign direct investment into the Chinese mainland, in actual use, expanded 37.9 percent year on year to 243.7 billion yuan in the January-February period, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Monday.

In U.S. dollar terms, the inflow went up 45.2 percent year on year to 37.86 billion dollars.

The service industry saw FDI inflows jump by 24 percent year on year to 175.7 billio
