YANGON, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) — Myanmar authorities seized 1,000 kilograms of narcotic drugs worth 18 billion kyats (over 9.3 million U.S. dollars) in central Mandalay region, state media reported on Saturday.

A combined team of anti-drug task force confiscated 800 kilograms of Methamphetamine (ICE) and 200 kilograms of Ketamine from a 12-wheeled container truck in Amarapura township on Sept. 29.
