YANGON, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) — One person was killed and four others injured in a heavy weapon attack in eastern Myanmar’s Shan State on Wednesday, the State Administration Council’s Information Team reported.

According to the council’s information team, the explosive assault carried out by Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) hit Nantphatkar village of Kutkai township in northern Shan State at around 10:30 a.m.
