YANGON, May 8 (Xinhua) — Myanmar police have seized 1.5 million stimulant tablets in eastern Myanmar’s Shan State, according to a statement by the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) late Tuesday.

In an operation based on a tip-off on May 3, police stopped and searched a light truck in the state’s Nawnghkio township and discovered the drugs, according to the statement.
