ISLAMABAD, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) — Pakistan on Saturday confirmed 288 new COVID-19 cases and seven more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Sunday.

The NCOC, a department leading the country’s campaign against the pandemic, said Pakistan has recorded a total of 1,289,049 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 1,251,101 recoveries.
