YANGON, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 1,514 new COVID-19 cases with a daily test positivity rate of 8.1 percent in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 484,317 cases in the country on Thursday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.

The death toll has increased to 18,255 on Thursday after 33 more deaths were newly reported, the release said.
