PHNOM PENH, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) — Cambodian authorities detained 9,828 drug-related suspects over the first nine months of this year, down 37 percent year-on-year, said an Anti-Drug Department’s report on Saturday.

The report said 6,044 suspects were involved in drug trafficking, possession or manufacturing, and 3,784 were related to drug use, adding that 217 of them were foreigners from eight countries.
