SINGAPORE, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 1,009 new cases of COVID-19 infection on Saturday, bringing the total tally in the city-state to 76,792.

Of the new cases, 926 are in the community, 78 in migrant worker dormitories and five are imported cases, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
