YANGON, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) — The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar increased to 436,527 on Tuesday after 2,421 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.

An additional 76 new deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 16,693 in the country as of Tuesday, the release said.
