BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) — The following are the updates on the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

ANKARA — Turkey on Friday confirmed 23,562 new COVID-19 cases, raising its tally of infections to 6,613,976, according to its health ministry.

The death toll from the virus in Turkey rose by 214 to 59,384, while 35,083 more people recovered in the last 24 hours.
