KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported another 19,378 new COVID-19 infections, the Health Ministry said on Friday, bringing the national total to 1,805,382.

Health Ministry Director-General Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a press statement that 14 of the new cases are imported and 19,364 are local transmissions.

Another 330 more deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 17,521.
