JAKARTA, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) — The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 8,955 within one day to 4,109,093, with the death toll adding by 680 to 134,356, the country’s Health Ministry said on Thursday.

According to the ministry, 21,208 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from COVID-19 to 3,798,099.
