ABUJA — Unknown gunmen on Friday ambushed and killed five farmers in Modakeke, a town in Nigeria’s southwestern state of Osun, the police said.
The attack occurred early Friday as the victims were on motorcycles on their way to their farm in the town of Modakeke, Yemisi Opalola, a spokeswoman for the police told reporters in Osogbo, the state capital.
