YANGON, July 28 (Xinhua) — The COVID-19 death toll rose to 8,210 in Myanmar after 365 new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports on Wednesday.

The country reported 4,980 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the tally to 284,099 on Wednesday, the ministry said.

The number of recoveries has reached 197,994 so far.
