ISLAMABAD, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) – The Pakistani government announced a 44 percent reduction in electricity tariffs for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to attract investments in the sector.

Minister for Power Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari made the announcement here on Wednesday lowering the rate from 71 rupees per unit to 39.70 rupees per unit.
