KATHMANDU, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) — Both foreign exchange reserves and remittance inflow went up in Nepal in the first five months of the current 2024-25 fiscal year, the central bank announced on Friday.

Remittances to Nepal stood at 4.73 billion U.S. dollars by mid-December 2024, up 4.4 percent over the same period of 2023-24, the Nepal Rastra Bank said in a report.

Meanwhile, forex reserves grew by 9.7 perc
