KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s domestic tourism experienced robust growth in the third quarter of 2024, with visitors surging 22.3 percent year on year to 66.3 million, official data showed Thursday.
However, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the number of domestic visitors dipped by 3.2 percent compared to the second quarter of 2024, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement.
