COLOMBO, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) — Sri Lanka’s gross foreign reserves increased by 474 million U.S. dollars in October, reaching 6.4 billion dollars, according to the latest Central Bank of Sri Lanka data.

This represents a 7.9-percent rise from the 5.99 billion dollars recorded in September 2024.

Official gold reserves also slightly increased to 42 million dollars in October from 40 million dollars in September
