KATHMANDU, Nepal – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced a $33 million donation to fund school meals in Nepal.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, the grant will be used in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) to increase student enrollment, attendance, literacy, and nutrition in Nepal’s remote schools.
