KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s manufacturing sector sales value rose 5.9 percent year on year to 156.1 billion ringgit (34.99 billion U.S. dollars) in June, official data showed Friday.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that the rise was primarily driven by the electrical and electronics products sub-sector, which grew by 7.1 percent.
