HANOI, July 30 (Xinhua) — Total foreign direct investment (FDI) disbursed in Vietnam in the first seven months of 2024 is estimated to rise 8.4 percent year-on-year to 12.25 billion U.S. dollars, a record for the seven-month period in five years, according to the General Statistics Office.

The processing-manufacturing sector saw the largest amount at 9.98 billion dollars.
