ISLAMABAD, July 16 (Xinhua) — Eight troops and 10 terrorists were killed in an attack on an army base in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Tuesday.

The incident happened in the early hours Monday morning when a group of 10 terrorists attacked the cantonment area in the Bannu district of the province and attempted to enter the area, the Inter-Services Public Relations
