YANGON, June 12 (Xinhua) — Myanmar authorities have seized 500 kg of methamphetamine and 200 kg of ketamine in a recent operation in eastern Myanmar, the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control said on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotics police searched a vehicle in Kengtung township of the eastern Shan state last Saturday, and seized the drugs, the committee said.
