TEHRAN — Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi confirmed on Sunday that one of the helicopters in the convoy carrying Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi suffered an accident and made a rough landing in the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan.
Speaking to state IRIB TV, Vahidi cited unfavorable climatic conditions as the reason for the helicopter’s landing. (Iran-Helicopter Accident-President)
