KARACHI, Pakistan – According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Navy (PN) successfully rescued eight trapped Iranian fishermen after a successful open sea operation Thursday.

The ISPR reported that PNS Yarmook responded to a distress call the fishermen’s vessel sent after it caught fire.

The rescued fishermen were eventually handed over to Iranian diplomatic personnel.
