DHAKA, Bangladesh – The next general election may be rescheduled if the BNP wishes to participate, according to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal on Sunday.

“We can’t say we’ll postpone the election, but our election commissioners said it can be rescheduled if the BNP wants to participate,” he told reporters at the Nirbachan Bhaban’s media center.

He claimed the BNP refused to participate
