Pakistani central bank’s forex reserves rise by 31 mln USD

ISLAMABAD, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) — The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that its foreign exchange reserves had increased by 31 million U.S. dollars.

During the week ending on Oct. 6, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank rose to around 7.6 billion dollars, the SBP said in a statement on Thursday night.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at 5.4 billion dollars, the central bank said.
