BEIJING, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) — Top seed Carlos Alcaraz cruised into the men’s singles semifinals of the China Open with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Norway’s Casper Ruud here on Monday.

The world No.2 Spaniard converted four of the 15 break points he created. He also fired six aces against the seventh seed Ruud’s one.

In the final four, he will meet the winner between the sixth seed Jannik Sinner of Italy and Bulgari
