YANGON, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Myanmar’s authorities have seized 2.2 kg of heroin and 299,000 stimulant tablets in the country’s region and state, the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) said on Saturday.

According to the committee, the seizures were made by anti-narcotic police in Chanmyathazi township of Mandalay region, central Myanmar on Sept. 27 and Taunggyi township of Shan state, eastern Myanma
