China’s weekly export container shipping index down

SHANGHAI, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) — China’s index of export container transport declined in the week ending on Sept. 22, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange.

The average China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) went down 0.4 percent from the previous week to 871.80, the shipping exchange said.

The sub-reading for the South America service fell by 4.7 percent from a week earlier.
