KABUL, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) — Afghanistan’s Salang Pass, the main highway linking the country’s national capital Kabul to nine northern provinces onward to Central Asian states, would remain closed for reconstruction starting Saturday, the private television channel TOLOnews reported.
