VIENTIANE, May 10 (Xinhua) — Laos registered a trade deficit of 17 million U.S. dollars in April, according to the Lao Trade Portal website.

The total value of trade in April amounted to 947 million dollars, of which 465 million dollars were exports and 482 million dollars were imports, said a report issued on Tuesday from the Lao Trade Portal website.
