COLOMBO, March 1 (Xinhua) — The Sri Lankan rupee opened stronger to the U.S. dollar on Wednesday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) reported.
The rupee was buying at 351.72 and selling at 362.95 against the U.S. dollar.
The central bank said this is the highest rupee value against the U.S. dollar since May 4, 2022.
