HANOI, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) — Vietnam exported 141 million U.S. dollars worth of shrimp in January, a sharp fall of 55 percent from the same period last year due to global uncertainties weighing on demand, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) reported on Wednesday.

The export revenue from shrimp normally makes up between 40 percent and 45 percent of the total annual value from Vietnam’
