PHNOM PENH, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) — Cambodia reported 2,770 cases of criminal offences in 2022, down 9 percent from 3,055 cases in a year earlier, a senior police official said here on Wednesday.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior’s Secretariat General Por Pheak said last year’s crimes included 608 felony cases and 2,162 misdemeanor offences.

Felonies include murder, rape, armed robbery and illegal
