HANOI, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) — Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, a 19-year-old university student from central Vietnam’s province of Quang Nam, was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022 after topping a Vietnamese beauty contest on Friday night.

The 1.75-meter-tall girl outperformed 34 other contestants at the pageant’s final round held overnight at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in southern Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City.
