YANGON, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) — Myanmar confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s total tally to 633,381, according to the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

The ministry said in a statement that health authorities tested 4,796 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.25 percent.
