JAKARTA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) — A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s western province of West Java on Saturday, but did not trigger a tsunami, the meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency reported.
The agency had first reported the quake with 6.4-magnitude, and it has now been revised to 6.1 magnitude, head of quake and tsunami mitigation division of the agency Daryono told Xinhua over phone.
