MANILA, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) — The Philippines reported 1,141 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday, pushing the number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 4,029,201.

The Department of Health said the number of active cases rose to 17,393, while 20 more patients died from COVID-19 complications, pushing the country’s death toll to 64,524.
