YANGON, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) — Myanmar confirmed 257 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the tally to 630,183, according to the country’s Ministry of Health on Friday.

The ministry said in a statement that the death toll from COVID-19 in the country reached 19,473 on Friday after one new death was reported.
