ISLAMABAD, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) — Pakistan recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, the country’s ministry of health said on Tuesday.

The overall tally of the infected people increased to 1,572,778 after adding the fresh cases, according to the data released by the ministry.
