KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s manufacturing sales value in July rose 23.8 percent to 148.4 billion ringgit (33 billion U.S. dollars) from a year ago, official data showed Friday.

The growth in sales value for July was driven by the electrical and electronics products subsector which expanded 26.1 percent year on year, the Department of Statistics Malaysia said in a statement.
