BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) — Point guard Xu Jie will replace injured Guo Ailun as China’s national men’s basketball team readjusted Sunday its squad for the fourth window of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers.

The team revealed that Guo will be absent from Monday’s match against Bahrain after suffering a thigh strain, and that Xu will take his place.
